Piranha Bytes has issued a statement on the official German 'Gothic II'
website, debunking recent rumors (story) of the development of a second 'Gothic II' expansion pack. "A second add-on is currently not in development nor are there any plans to develop a second add-on".
They have also updated the English website with the mighty late announcement of the US release of 'Gothic II'. The delayed announcement is, of course, Atari's fault according to PB.
